Fox Bros. Ribs...Still #1

Last Friday at work we bucked tradition (aka pizza) and opted for a delicious spread from Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q. Pictured (from left to right) are fried macaroni, two pounds of pulled pork, and more fried mac on the top row and one of three slabs of bbq ribs, cole slaw, baked beans and green beans on the bottom row. The ribs were fantastic, as was the pulled pork. The macaroni is a must have...lightly battered and fried cubes of mac and cheese with a delicious dipping sauce. The other side items were great as well, with the baked beans standing out a little more than the others in my opinion due to a hint of spice. I really wish Fox Bros. sold their rib rub because it is unbelievable and makes the ribs not even need sauce.

Smokejack solid as always

Had dinner at Smokejack www.smokejackbbq.com in Alpharetta, GA tonight and it lived up to its normal high standards. I had pulled pork plate with collard greens and mashed sweet potatoes. The swine was fine. I had a technical difficulty so I don't have a picture (i forgot to take one), but believe me it looked and tasted great. I was in a meeting in the private room upstairs and service was still great. Highly recommended.
